An exhibit of hand-painted “naughty” postcards by Georges Hugnet starts Nov. 16 at Ubu Gallery in New York. Hugnet drew his fantastic Spumifer creatures on vintage French postcards in the 1940s, but this collection is new to me—and I’m utterly charmed.
