Believe it or not, we actually like new stuff. Well, some new stuff….
After listening to nothing but over the past few days, Django Django’s s/t album has become my favorite of 2012 (thus far). Delightful end to end!
I haven’t been great about keeping up with new records this year, but I’ve really enjoyed Grimes, Lotus Plaza, John Talabot and Sharon Van Etten. Need to listen to more: Frank Ocean, Julia Holter. Haven’t yet heard, but intend to: Jessie Ware, Yeasayer. Looking forward to: AC Newman (always), Mountain Goats, Wild Nothing.
