Protest chant: get up, get down, Chicago is a union town

I live up the street from a big public high school. Tuesday morning I was in the kitchen making coffee and heard a lot of noise from the intersection by the school. I assumed there was a serious accident or the traffic light was down and Chicago drivers, per usual, were being obnoxious about it. But from the back porch I could see teachers picketing on the sidewalk and a steady procession of truckers, cops, firefighters and other city and private workers honking their support as they passed. The commotion has continued all week. But it’s good noise, you know?
